Jeanine Woodell started Potential Academic Services in 2012 based on the idea that all kids can succeed. Sometimes all it takes is a little advice and knowledge. As a teacher, parent, student advocate, counselor, and coach, Jeanine has worked with students of all ages and abilities to succeed. The educational system, from kindergarten through college, both private and public, can be difficult to navigate. Jeanine is an education professional who can help you and your family find your way. 

Students and families often need guidance outside of the classroom to learn, stay organized, and stay motivated. Families can use help fostering the desire to learn and achieve. With that in mind, Jeanine plans her individualized sessions to motivate and encourage -- bringing out the potential of every student in the classroom and through the college application process. 

Jeanine provides tutoring in all academic areas grades 1-8. In subject areas, Jeanine can help with reading and understanding content, lifelong learning and preparing for tests. If reading is your child's specific challenge, Jeanine is an experienced tutor working with students with disabilities, especially dyslexia and other forms of language processing issues.

Jeanine can provide writing assistance at all grade levels -- from classroom writing assignments to personal statements for college applications, Jeanine provides a comprehensive system that will allow your child to express himself clearly and personally in writing.

Students with disabilities do now always get the right accommodations. As an educational advocate, Jeanine can help you understand the details of an IEP or 504. She can attend meetings and help you communicate your concerns and needs to school personnel to make sure your child is receiving the education that fits their needs.

An experienced educator and administrator, with a degree in psychology, Jeanine has developed motivating sessions for the student and for families to help every student reach his or her potential.
