How do you know which one is right for you, and how do you put your application package together in a way that increases your opportunities? A college application coach can help you navigate the daunting process of finding the right school and completing the application process. My approach helps students take ownership of the task of applyng to college, meet deadlines, and submit successful applications. Services include providing organizational advice, assistance with time management, coaching throughout the writing process, and support to gather the necessary documentation to complete the application. 

After students complete this process, they are proud of their applications and are able to call their work their own. My collaborative approach has led to an outstanding success rate when it comes to helping students find a college that is the right fit. Whether you are using the UC aplication, the Common App, or individual college applications, I will guide you to stay organized and submit stellar applications on time.

All college application packages include:

• An overview and introduction to the college application process
• An evaluation of the student’s strengths, interests, and academic history as it relates to college selection
• Assistance in developing a concise list of target colleges based on the student’s interests, as well as geographic, financial, or academic considerations
• Assistance for the student in organizing their work and meeting application deadlines
• Guidance throughout the writing process, enabling the student to complete unique and powerful personal statements, including:
  • Prewriting, writing, revision, editing, and submission
  • Online and in-person support during the entire writing process
  • Waitlist, letters of continued interest, and appeal writing, if necessary
• Guidance for the student in communicating with the admissions department, athletic coaches, music/theater directors, as needed, depending on the application
